Delete your LineageNet account

You can ask us to delete your account and all the data in it. This applies to the Android app and the website, which share one account.

How to ask

1. Email support@lineagenet.com from the email address on your account.
2. Write “Delete my account” in the subject.
3. We confirm by reply, then delete.

What gets deleted

Your sign-in, your tree, your network, circles, activity history, QR codes and live pairs. Photos stay on your own devices and are never uploaded.

How long it takes

• Default: your data is hidden straight away and kept for 30 days in case you change your mind, then permanently deleted.
• Immediate erasure: say so in your email and we permanently delete your data within 2 working days of receiving the request.

Backups can take a short while longer to clear. Files you exported yourself are yours and are not deleted by us.
